The Game Developers Conference has announced the sessions for the 2008 GDC Mobile track. With the exception of DC’s session entitled Mobile Social Entertainment: Next Big Thing from Japan, it looks like there’s not much that’s Flash Lite-specific. Nevertheless, it looks like there’s lots of great stuff in store!

Shown at the Mobius Conference in Amsterdam, the next version of Windows Mobile will be “an update rather than an upgrade.” This means that it’s not Windows Mobile 7/Photon, which would be a huge leap in functionality, but more along the lines of the transition of WM5 to WM6.
Most of the stuff The Unwired saw behind closed doors is hush-hush so they can’t describe it, but the new revision will be available starting Q1 2008, and will be on shelves in new phone form around Q2 or Q3. The good news for current WM users is that you can technically upgrade your old phones to the new OS, but it’s up to the phone manufacturer—like it was for the transition between Windows Mobile 5 to 6—to determine whether they want to put the resources into doing so. What Missing Sync did for $39, SyncMate does for free—syncing your contacts, calendars, notes and favorites from your Windows Mobile phone onto your Mac with little to no hassle. Unfortunately for WM users, the default iSync software doesn’t support either WM5 or WM6 as well as it should. We haven’t tried SyncMate yet ourselves, but if it works nearly as well as Missing Sync—which we have tried—then it’ll be worth every penny. [Eltima via Thinkabdul]

One of my friends just got HTC TyTN II and was asking me about installation of MapKing. Then, I remembered about the new version of MapKing which is supposed to fix some problems on the version that comes shipped in the CD or microSD card that came bundled. Can some one please help me. This morning when I went to
click on my IE 7 browser a message popped up instead
of the browser. This is it what it says everytime I try to open
the browser : " Microsoft Visual Ctt Runtime Library/ Program Files/
Internet/iexplore.exe/ This application has requested the Runtime to
terminate it in an unusual way. / Please contact the application's
support team for more information."
This is all another
language to me. I don't have a clue as to what is going on or what
caused this. I tried to get tech support from Microsoft but when I
finally found where to contact them the fee was over
$250.00. Can some one pleae enlightened me as to how I may fix
this problem.
